We stayed in this hotel while visiting Essen for the Spiel 2023. We were happily surprised by the room size, which was bigger than we expected. We could spaciously accommodate all the board games we bought. We want to highlight that the room was very clean and comfortable (the bed was very big also). We thank a lot the free water bottles (1 still, 1 sparkly) that we had each day at our room. The room was not noisy at all, as the windows effectively isolated us from the road cars sound. 100% recommended

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful, modern but cozy. Everything was clean and fresh, well lit and easily accessible. You can park for free in the streets next to the hotel. The subway is a short walk away, just like the city center. Breakfast was fresh and plenty to choose from. We were here for Spiel. During the night the communal areas were alive with people playing games and chatting with each other. It was nice to see so many people mixing and having fun.

Sierra

The room on the courtyard side was quiet en good, spacious. The pillows on the bed were very flat I so asked for some extra pillows and these were brougt instantly. The bed was very comfortable. The location is fine, some 400 meter from the large shopping center and 500 meter to the restaurants downtown. The rooftop bar has very limited foodsnacks. Car parking was for free in the streets around and before the hotel.

The hotel was large, with a nice lobby and the rooms were really big, a big bathroom and really clean. The hotel was also quite close to the city center (just 10 mins walk). They didn't have parking space for us, but there was a parking garage right opposite to the hotel where we parked our car for 8 euros (until next morning). The breakfast was also nice and fresh. So, overall nice stay.

Somshekher

The staff were lovely - really very helpful. The bed was big and comfortable, and the shower was piping hot. My room was very spacious. The option of having a beer in the bar at night is a nice touch too. I think lots of people would like the hotel's aesthetic; it's definitely got a unique vibe with the colours and neon lights.
